Poem and bluegrass dance across the floor at the Mussel Inn this Thursday night, 18 April –  a riot of a night it promises to be!

An exciting addition to our Acid On The Microphone session this week is the first outing of brand new local bluegrass outfit Golden Bay Bluegrass.

The band lineup includes, on guitars, Jed Bright and Neal Bonner,  Callie Lamont on fiddle while Dave Schorr handles the double bass. And when it comes to the vocals, rest assured, harmonies abound!

The evening will kick off with the nice vibes of alanjahjah around 7.15pm. The Open Microphone will start around 7.30 pm  and carry on until we run out of performers! We’ll have a break and then introduce Golden Bay Bluegrass who will lead us on a foot-stomping romp through old and new bluegrass classics as well as a few distant cousins!

Come on down with your poems and your songs. We need you to keep the acid sizzling on the microphone.  Be beaut to see you there. $5 on the door.

Peace
