ACID FIZZING ON THE MIC

Brain “The Sheriff” Gilbert  will be stepping out of the shadows later this month to perform as Acid on the Microphone’s  featured guest at the Mussel Inn. His set will be preceded by the fabulous and long-running open mic session for poets and singers and storytellers.

Actually getting “The Sheriff” on stage has been a challenge but the deed has been done and we are going to be in for a walloping good time at this latest instalment of Acid on the Microphone  presented by Golden Bay Live Poets Society. Poems and a couple of yarns are on the menu.

Open Mic participants should get in early on the night to book a spot behind the microphone. Musicians alanjahjah and Joy will set the scene for the evening with their joyful sounds. Open Mic will kick off around 7.30pm. A short break slightly after 8.00pm before The Sheriff makes the microphone his own.
